Searching for Ann HOLLAND (c.1791)
« on: Wednesday 23 June 10 16:19 BST (UK) »
Hi, I am looking for a baptism for Ann HOLLAND (b. c.1791). She married James FELLOWS at Thrapston, Northants in 1821. On the 1851 census, she gave her birthplace as Aldwinkle, while in 1861 she just gave her place of residence, Islip.

She named her son John Holland Fellows - don't know if that may be a hint that her father could be John.

Thanks,
Alexander

Hi Alexander.

I can not see one on the Northants Baptism Indexes.

There was a chapel at Aldwinckle, not sure about Islip.

James (Widower) and Ann were married by Lic so maybe she
came from further afield or was illegitimate.

You could always ask Alan Clarke on my links below this post.

Thank you for checking, Sandy. I didn't know that James was a widower - haven't found a previous marriage for him.

I will do what you suggest and ask Alan.
