The records are transcribed from records held by the local registration services.

Its just a marriage im looking at is spelt differently on free bmd to cheshire bmd.
Its the marriage of william blease to anie evans in 1892.
On free bmd the surname blease is spelt with a z instead of the s.
Its caused great confusion into which william blease i need to trace. My surname is blease and it is def spelt with an S.

The records only start in 1837 when registration started.
The spelling of the name could be down to the registrar.
My Grandad was a Fisk before he married but the registrar entered his name as Fiske in the register when he got married.

I think it's all down to who transcribed the entry.
Ancestry also has the name  as Bleaze .  vol 8a page 448.
As all the marriages are Q2 Northwich to Annie Evans they must all be the same marriage , just the surname transcribed incorrectly.

Cheshire BMd is a transcription of an index created from the register(s) held in Cheshire
Frebmd is a transcription of the index created from the COPY register (-handwritten) held by the GRO, which was sent to them every qtr..

A parish register could have another variation in name spelling.
All census look up transcriptions are Crown Copyright http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

So is cheshire bmd the most likely then?
