 - are you talking about the family headed by Henry Whiffen and wife Marie that's in Toronto in 1911? (Although they're listed as emigrating in 1907). They  have a son Albert (b. 1890) and a George (b. 1901)

http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/cef/001042-100.01-e.php - Albert signed up to WWI and was not married at the time.

Are you looking for descendants in Canada or trying to track them back to the UK?

Hello Jorose,

Thank you for your reply.

Can you give me the details of the family in 1911.?

Yes that is the same family.  Henry emigrated in 1907 and Marie and their children emigrated in 1910.

Henry and Marie moved to Chicago in 1913  and Albert and George remained in Toronto.  However George is with the family in 1920 in Chicago.

1917/1918  George lived in 28 Henry Street, Toronto and 1924 Albert lived at 159 Christy Road and 331 McRobert Rd, Toronto.  (Addresses obtained from border crossings from Detroit  when their family visited)

So I am looking for any descendents, as I have all their details in the UK

Thank you

Yvonne

Hello Scott,

You can search the 1911 Census yourself for free at the automatedgenealogy weblink the joerose posted. You can view the actual image by clicking 'split screen' near the top of the transcription page. This will give you more information than the transcription part provides.

It looks like Albert was still in Toronto in 1921:

Yvonne, if you want to find where they are buried you could search OCFA [Ontario Cemetry Finding Aid]...  free and online.
I've had spectacular success with it.
Worth a try as it gives leads about where they lived etc.

Hello Charlotte,

Thanks for the information.

I found two members of the family. Presumably you would have contact the cemeteries for further information.

Hi again :)

You could try the cemeteries or ask for a lookup on RC using  the exact reference  that is at the end of each line of entry.
The references ar to various Ont. FHS who have put out books with the full MIs in them.
