1871/81 census look up please - modified since posting with a PS

Could someone please look for an Isabella Williamson born c 1865 in the 1871/81 censuses.

She was married by the 1891 censuses to a James Mitchell Duncan and had two children Ann and Alexander.  She died that same year.

If you didn't mind looking for her in the 1891 that would be great but it is mainly the censuses before she married I am looking for to see who her parents are.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

PS  Since posting I have just realised where they come in my family tree.  Her parents were John and Margaret.  A note of the censuses would still be good!!

It has just occurred to me the age of John in the 1871 census is older than in the 1881 census.  Do you think it should be 33 years old.  Do you have access to the original 1871 census.

I think it will just have been transcribed wrong.

There's no way of checking the parents' ages because you can't see the originals in the Scottish census

That is not correct. There are several ways to see the originals of the Scottish Census:

1. Look at the image of the original on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk.

2. Look at the microfilms in the Heritage Centre in Elgin, the public library in Aberdeen or the Family History Shop in Aberdeen.

3. Go to your nearest Latter Day Saints Family History Center and order a copy of the microfilm and look at it there.

4. Look at the microfilm in the Scotland's People Centre in Edinburgh.

I believe on Ancestry you can't get the original. 

I may order the film from LDS and view the original there or on my next visit to Scotland's people which will hopefully be before the end of the year.
