Marriage in Roscommon

Can anyone help me find the marriage between Patrick Oates and Margaret Skelly. They would have been married either in 1857 or 1858. Thank you.

Civil registration of Catholic marriages started in 1864 so if they were married in a Catholic ceremony you need to search for church records. Registration of non-Catholic marriages began 1845 (including registry office ones) so you can check civil index (search for bride and groom separately then cross-reference results for matching details)-

LDS Pilot site also has some Irish marriages here (bride and groom listed in same record)-

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thank you for your quick response and for providing these two sites. I will begin checking them immediately.
