Any assistance will be most gratefully accepted. Endeavouring to establish ANY information on John Shepherd b.1862 Gt Milton, his son, John Richard Sheppard, b, 1823 at Tiddington, married Sussanah Tipping in 1849 at Tiddington.  We have not been able to find any information on any of these ppl or their families in Oxfordshire or surrounds

I know a Shepherd family I think they are from Radley, Oxfordshire.

The fathers name is Denis Shepherd not sure on spelling he is in his late 40's i guess.

HORNE or HORN - Poplar (until approx 1920), Oxfordshire (1920's - present)
PAUL (Dorset 1600 - 1900's)
LEIGHTON (Yorkshire, Oxfordshire)
BREAKSPEARE or BREAKSPEAR (Oxfordshire)
AYRES (Oxfordshire)
KEEPING (Glamorgan)
BELCHER (Berkshire)

Hi Peter,
I have SHEPHERDs from Wheatley which is a couple of miles from Tiddington.
One of them Joseph Shepherd born 1830 married Sarah Nutt from Great Milton.
Don't know if that is of any help to you.
