Hi Kevin

There is a lot to take  in but things seem to be falling into place. I was wondering if the Sharman could be George's mother Annie's maidenname or failing that a maidenname of an earlier ancestor - I have found this quite common in my own families. I have had a quick look for Charles and Annie's marriage but haven't found a likely one yet.

Re inconsistent ages on census it is common as is changing birthplace - one of my gg grandfathers gives a different place of birth on every census 1851-1901. I can imagine him chuckling to himself as I struggle to find where he actually was born ;D
