TRAEGER Lookup please

Hi all,

I am looking for information about Emma Augusta Traeger(sp could be wrong) and her family.

Emma was born 1873 in Hallet Cove, South Australia and died about 1918. She married John William Crawford in Yongala, SA in 1896 (still looking for original source for this, but im pretty sure its right) and had 3 children, Gladys Elizabeth (b. 1897, d 1970's), Jean Annie (b. 1902, d 1980's) and May Eva (b. 1905 d unknown - i know she died, but the family can't seem to remember exactly when).

I believe Emma's father to be Frederick William Traeger, but I have no information on him whatsoever, nor his wife or any other children in the marriage.

Any help or clues would be much appreciated.

Not Hallett Cove, Halletts Valley.  One is south and the other north east of Adelaide in the Barossa Valley.

No luck with the SCHLOTTERBECK/SCHOTTERBECK/SHOTTERBECK/SLOTTERBECK/SLOTTIRBECK surname.

is there any death record for David? according to Sashar's first post he died in 1880 - making him less than a year old..

last but not least, any idea where Christianne was born and what her mothers name would've been?

any idea where Christianne was born and what her mothers name would've been?

No luck with the SCHLOTTERBECK/SCHOTTERBECK/SHOTTERBECK/SLOTTERBECK/SLOTTIRBECK surname.

I would say Germany   SCHLOTTERBECK appears to be the the the usual spelling.  I have searched IGI to see if there was a birth but no luck.  Perhaps she emigrated with a relative.

Perhaps a request to the Lutheran Archives in Adelaide.
