Marriage:Grace EDDY and Samuel HENWOOD

Please can you help with finding a Marriage for the above couple.
Her Obituary 1937 Colorado says she married in England 1879

I have her on the 1871  RG10/2344 F18 P28 aged 11 at Lower Trewellard.
Then from June 1880 onwards in Colorado with him
Samuel Henwood died in Gilpin County Colorado aged 29 Feb20 1897.

Two of her children Agnes and James were Baptised in Pendeen 10/01/1883 under the surname Henwood.

on the 1900 Census in Gilpin Colorado there is a Thomas (gold miner, May 1872) and AGNES EDDY (b Dec 1882). Both b England

I wonder if this is your Agnes Henwood marrying a Thomas Eddy. Do you have Agnes' birth cert?

Hi Deb,

Thank you for reminding me about this family.

I spotted them last night when searching for her mother Grace, Agnes is living next door to her mother in the 1920 census... that's another twig

I found it strange that she was refered to as Agnes Henwood Eddy (Henwood in Italic's) in the Information Family Link, along side the photograph of Grace's grave. I understand why now , she married an Eddy and the Henwood was her maiden name.

I don't have Agnes birth cert but I see a Parish Record, Pendeen 10/01/1883 for her and brother James on the same day.

Do you think Thomas J Eddy was related to them ...On his Naturalization record he states he is born Cornwall...maybeAgnes and Thomas were distant cousins?

Thank you for always being so helpful and interested in my Eddy family

I am just about to try and check him out after adding it all  to my Tree. So many Thomas Eddy's, don't you just wish for a Cuthbert sometimes ...I know everyone of my Eddy family had a Thomas, so which cousin is going to be difficult to work out ...me thinks

Looking at the price of property that my lot owned over there, many of them must have strucke it rich.
