LINDALE/LINDHAL/LINDAHL all

My paternal grandfather Albert Clarence LINDALE (or LINDHAL) born about 1880, possibly in NSW Australia was the eldest son of Harry or Nikolai LINDALE/LINDHAL who was reportedly born in Scandinavia. However we have not been able to uncover any documentation whatsoever about my ancestors before the marriage in Wellington on 16th January 1908 of Albert Clarence LINDALE to Rosie CRUNDWELL.

Albert's first marriage certificate had his mother as Alice NEWMAN -  but on his second marriage some 34 years later his mother is shown as Amelia SWANSON.

Both Albert and his father's occupations were Plasterers.

This is a major brickwall in our family ancestry so any help - no matter how tiny would be very very much appreciated.

I have had this information posted on the NZ, Australian and Swedish Boards without any success.
