Looking for information on

Thomas Edward Jenkinson b Bawtry abt 1832

Mary Ann (Ellis?) Jenkinson b Whitby abt 1833

Can anyone help in locating their marriage? I believe they got married between Feb 1855 - 1860. 

I have a christening at whitby for Ada Jenkinson 29/3 1860 but cannot find a birth listed only for a child of that name born in Whitby for the June qtr 1860.

Any help would be great.

Why is there a 'problem' with the child's baptism and birth registration dates?

The parents do have 6 weeks to register a birth, so the child could have been baptised at one month in age and still have two weeks left to register the birth, taking it to the next 1/4.

Perhaps its not a 'problem' but some of the baptisms in the family have not taken place near to the birth.

Just by chance, I found the marriage of Thomas Edward Jenkinson and Mary Ann Close in an extract from Malton newspapers 1857!

They married in August of that year.  I can now order my certificate!
