It does'nt appear that there is a George, Jane or Sarah May MacGarry showing on the 1880 Census for New Jersey. (Unless mis-transcribed)  The 1890 Census was destroyed by fire and only remnants remain, however, New Jersey did have a 1895 Census but it gives little detail. The members of a household are catagorised into age groups, a George McGarry does show in Tenafly but would appear to be in the wrong age group.

A George Mc Garry married a Jane Doyle 16th July 1869 - Church of Madonna - Catholic. Fort Lee. Bergen. New Jersey.

There are a few births for the couple on the pilot site.  Sarah Jane McGarry 28 May 1876, christened at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Tenafly. Bergen would be one that was listed. Other children would include a George, William James  and Elizabeth.

we know that was a William McGarry as well  was out there at the time and property was purchased and also at a later date one his children became a dressmaker  the rest were bricklayers and stonemasons  the first names in the threads are all similar
