« on: Sunday 11 July 10 15:24 BST (UK) »
:)Hi there , warm enough??
I'm searching for the full name of a certain Allam Fredrick (J....) who was married in Fulham (Vol1a - Page 857  ) with Kathleen, Martin )
Also ,was it the Allam Frederick John  born about 1919 St Giles  September Quarter ?
He died in my native town during the WWII ,

Thanks in advance
Luc

You haven't given a date for a death,
marr between these 2 persons as follows
Frederick J Allam
to
Kathleen E Martin
took place March qtr 1940
ref 1a 857

CWGC shows
Frederick J Allam
aged 20
son of Frederick and Ann Allam of Ilford
date 11/05/1940
no mention of Kathleen

Frederick W ALLAN
marr
Annie McCarthy
Dec qtr 1918
ST Martin
ref 1a 1346

Birth
Frederick J Allam
 Sept qtr 119
St Giles
ref 1b 797
mother nee McCarthy

Hope this helps clarify the point

because he got married quite soon after marriage perhaps his records just showed he was at home with parents as his home address.

Have you thought of looking for a marriage for Kathleen after his death, if you find one then this is your man

:) You give me hope Louisa! There is a Kathleen Martin E. who married also in Fulham (Martin    Kathleen E    Neal    Fulham    1a   538 ) But there are many Kathleen's .
It may well be that the address of his parents used shortly after his death,

Thank You !!

If she is a widow I think she should be Kathleen Allum marrying, BUT this is not always the case as widows have been known to revert to their maiden name upon second marriages, pity you are not able to actually look at parish registers for that area, I would like to give you hope Luc but even I am not sure about the second marriage

:) Thank you Louise.
I think there is nothing else than to buy  a death certificate of Frederick John Allam, There would then have to mentioned that he had been married.
Regards
Luc

Well if the one that died 11th May 1940 is your man, you can get a copy of his grave photo from this site but will cost £3 i am afraid.

Click to buy Frederick's grave photo

I also found that some one had signed a guest book/ message for him on this site? dated 22nd Oct 2007

Might also be worth getting in touch with this site to see if you can get his service records or more information on his career in the service ?

Click for Frederick  on the CWGC
