Help please - Charles Morgan, born about 1878

Hi iam looking for any infomation on my great  great grandfather Charles Morgan,born about 1878.I know he had sons Sidney,Llewellyn,Kenneth,Victor.And i know Sidney was born in Pontypool.But i dont know where Charles was born or if he was married.Any help would be great many thanks

I think, based on Pontypool births and later info, that he is married to a Maud in the 1901 census, no kids with them tho.

Charles says in the 1901 census that his birthplace is Trelleck, Monmouthshire.


I wonder if this is your Sydney - cant see him on the 1901 census.

ah, just see you reckon 1902 - so this must be him - after the census!

Hi thank you for your help.It could well be them,i think i need to check the 1911 census.Also i was wondering about your spelling of Sidney(Sydney)is that how his name is coming up? Many thanks

do you want to look back a bit and see if Charles' parents can be found?

(and Maud's too before I get accused of bias   :P )
