Looking for a John Tennant Hamilton b 1838 lanarkshire, parents john b 1806 jean mckirdy b 1804 largs,ayr,Scotland.

john has 2 daughters lily and Kate ,i have no age on them only that john lived till 1920?

John Hamilton senior was the manger of the  St Rolox chemical works

and have only the 1841 C at St Rollox Kirkintilloch Rd.
 he isn't with his family 1851 at 3 Kennedy st.

Are you sure it's John you're looking for as there is death registered in 1845 for that name.

However there is a James Hamilton born 1828, who married Catherine McKay, and had daughters named Lilias and Catherine who could be their son.

Yes i have already got James Hamilton and his wife Catherine Mckay. i only had Catherine b 1865,so lillias would make seance.

john a younger brother b 1838 , hmm you think he may of died in 1845 ?

the parents and 2 brothers alexander and robert all died on the ship off the coast of folkstone in 1857.

i dont have a death for there youngest boy Glen b1844 either.
