J Cafferty & Sons in Whickham

Hello. I'm looking for a relative of my Grandmother (Sarah Kearns Linney) who had a cousin Maggie who lived in Whickham before the second world war.  In 1959 (the date of an unsigned letter) the cousin mentions that she is living at Dunston, having moved there during the wartime. At the time of the letter, Maggie says she is 75, her husband died 8 years prior,  and she has 2 boys at home (unnamed) and a daughter named Peggy who has  "4 lovely children".  She included a postcard from Whickham Road, Sunniside, where the family once lived, and a card from J Cafferty & Sons, Whaggs Nurseries, Grange Lane, Whickham  - Cafferty may be which may be her last name.
