Hi, I found the date in one of the records I came across.  His death record was from the death extract. I have never found out why he had the R .The name Richard appears a great deal throughout that tree. Thanks for all your help

Selena & mother in 1901 & 1911 Sask. ( If they were married in Sask. the marriages not available yet)

Jane Hamilton Debbie found seems to be already widowed by 1852 which makes it tough to find husband...
Perhaps could look for brother John from the 1852 census, might have more luck...
Jane Hamilton died August 29th 1871 Chinguacousy, Peel, Ontario, Canada
b. circa 1800 Co. Armagh, Ireland

A James & family is also living in the same vicinity, 1852 census ...b.Ireland in case he turns out to be related as well...

hamiltons in Chinguacousy, Peel (sorry I thought it was list of pioneers but closer look reveals it to be more like 1871?) : http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wjmartin/peelco3.htm
Hamilton, John         concession 5     lot 20
Hamilton, Richard     concession 4     lot  4
Hamilton, Richard     concession 6     lot 13

Earliest settler to the Chinguacousy, Peel  area I can find thus far ; A Richard Hamilton settled in Brampton 1831 but says native to Canada

May have nothing to do with your family, but mentioning as not too far from Walsham, there is this christening
for a Mary Ann Temple, Sept 12  1830 Bodham, Norfolk, England parents John Temple & Ann
Indexing (Batch) Number: I07441-3  (also an Isaac 1825, William 1827, Martha 1832,  John in 1833)
Hmmmm...looks to be similar to the 1861 information Debbie found.

A Thomas green married Anne Moffitt same year/batch# as Anne Green's marriage
July 3 1823, St Mary Magdalene, Wiggenhall, , Norfolk, England
