I am looking to find anyone who is linked to, has information on or knew about Barbara Joan Izzard. She was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England in1925, married to Arthur Boot in Hitchin in1944 and after having 4 girls sadly passed away in Leicestershire in 1954 aged just 28yrs old!!!. She was my Grandma and my mother was only 4yrs old when she died so remembers nothing about her and my Grandad took all memories of her to his grave, having never talked about his first wife and their mother - he just would never do it?
I understand that her father was called Herbert Izzard and her mother was called Elsie May Izzard (nee Clark) Herbert re-married after Barbara's mother Elsie died but we don't know who to but understand there was a stepsister to Barbara who also lived in Hitchin called Ruby Kemp and she was married to a Frank Kemp.
I appear to have a lot on information yes, but have come to a dead end and am looking for anyone down in Hitchin, Hertfordshire who may know more....... We don't know if Grandma - Barbara Boot once married had any other step brothers or sisters, if they had children and so on?
Lots of questions as we are just beginning, but not many answers other than what we have above and no photo's..... any help would be much appreciated - local press can they help? Thanks Bella
