Hi,

Just a bit of information -

Burial record of a William Lord, age 72, St Peter & St Paul, Hanborough in 1850 (no specific date given).

Hope that is of some help.  :)

Hi Toby

That's a little worrying, buried the day before he was pronounced dead  :o
I had a contact on Genes R give me this info re burial -

Quote
18 Feb 1852-William LORD 72

Now that one presumed that his body was not buried for 2 years? where as yours is as noted above. Is there any chance that the date was a bit later than the 15th? I know how hard reading original pr's can be as I do transcribing for FreeBMG.

Another contact again from GR gave me this -

Quote
This may be the correct baptism for your William, who was buried in Handborough 18/2/1850 aged 72 yrs, therefore born circa 1778

So confusion and of course 'Chaos' reigns  :D

See if we can pin this down then I might take you up on your offer for other family members in that area if possible.

Cheers

Ok toby thanks.

In the cause of death it has '3 days certified', anyone know what that referred to?

Thanks
