Ash Next Sandwich Baptism
« on: Thursday 31 March 05 22:21 BST (UK) »
Hi

Can anyone please help with a lookup in the Ash PR or BT
I am looking for a Mary Ann Carpenter born about 1810
The 1851 census says she was born in Sandwich, but no luck there!
The 1861 census says Ash so I live in hope!

Thanks Max

Not sure if this is of much help to you, but it's poss that you might find something under the registration district of Eastry. Lots of the areas around sandwich and Deal do.
Good Luck

Farrier from Littlebourne & Fordwich
Beer from Chislet
Amos from Wye & Canterbury
Cheeseman from Canterbury & Blean area
Oliver from Ash
Holden from Sholden/Northbourne/ Worth area

Hi
I contacted the web site and arranged a visit to Ash church to search the Parish Archive
( they still retain their own collection ) Unfortunately there is no mention of Mary Ann Carpenter Baptised there.
