the marriage is on family search record search:

http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=waypoint&s=waypointsOnly&c=fs%3A1309819&w=0

northumberland /kirknewton /page 75

however apart from correction on date - 2/6/1811 the info doesn't help much. both otp and first marriage. Had a quick look back for baptisms but there seem to be very few.

Hi Rob,

I have Young connections through Kirknewton.

My GGGGF John Young married Elizabeth Curry at Kirknewton on 29th November 1822.

I think that his parents were Andrew Young and Mary Clarke.

Regards
Gerry

Listing the names of his children in order may help with parents names?

Do you know where Margaret was born?

When did both die?

Hi Rosinish,

Margaret YOUNG was baptised at Wooler, Northumberland on 24th April, 1787. She was buried at Lowick in July, 1858. Her husband David HORNE died in 1851 & also buried at Lowick. I will have a look at evidence of their childrens' births..cheers, Rob

I also believe Margaret's parents were Richard YOUNG (from Alnwick) and Christian ROGERS. I have traced Richard's genealogy 2 generations back. However, I cannot trace Christian's birth/baptism?? Any ideas on her origin? Cheers, Rob
