I'm trying to trace this de Lacy's family's origins.

Robert's 2nd daughter, JANE de LACY, married my great-grandfather Thomas DOWNES - whose father came from Balgriffen.

Jane and Thomas had 4 children, 1 of whom was born in Malahide, and it's possible that Jane died in the late 1870s/80s, as Thomas married again at some point.

Any info on Robert's ancestors, siblings, other children will be gratefully received as I've drawn a blank in all the usual web resources.
