I am trying to see if Alice Murray and Thomas Murray were still married and living together in St Helens in 1901. I see there are some possible matches for both in that census in the right area, but were they together?

She was born abt1838 in Rainford and he was born abt1848 in Ireland

Where did you find this information. I have just checked the Lancashire BMD website and it says Barbara and James at 'Prescot Register Office or Registrar Attended'
