Place name 1851 census

 The 1851 census for Elizabeth Partridge ( Pattridge on ancestry ) ( ref class HO107, piece 2319, folio 73 , page 10 )
indicates she is from Wiltshire and from an unreadable town/ village. I know from other information that she and her family are from Shropshire, the rest Shrewsbury. Does anybody recognise the place on the census return

Well the closest I can get is UFRED, which when I searched on Google maps leads me to an unmarked area outside of Stonehenge Wilts?, the second word looks like GATE?

In 1841 this Partridge family are living in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and are all shown as born in county.

In 1851 a Harriet Wynne is  in the same household. She is shown as born in Wiltshire.

She is also with the Partridges in 1841, and is shown as born in Shropshire.

Do you have her on any later censuses, and if so what is her birthplace?

to various answers

it is the same family as 1841  all born Shrewsbury.
Elizabeth is not on Parish registers for St Mary's , whereas all others are. Harriet Wynne is Mary's daughter from first marriage, also on St Mary's parish register.
The 1851 is in my view a mistake to put Salisbury, Wiltshire.
I cannot find Elizabeth after 1851 as yet and would use place of birth on 51 census to narrow down, if known

It's clear from a quick look at the Family Search Record Search site that most of the others were born in Shrewsbury as you say.

I am wondering if Shrewsbury was actually entered on the householders form, perhaps badly written, was wrongly interpreted as Salisbury, and therefore ascribed to the wrong County?

 I agree with that.

The only thing is that Elizabeth is on IGI  as daughter of William and Mary but down as Shropshire.
As she may be first born knowing birth place may help me to marriage
