Ancestry has incoming passenger lists.

UK Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960

Not sure if you need World access though?

If you post a name and some info of who you are looking for and who you expect them to be travelling with and where from(as long as he's not still alive) someone may have access to more info to help you.
