Hi and welcome to Rootschat

The 1851 census has 44 entries for that surname so you will need to give more info as to which particular Menmuir family you are researching

The majority were living in St Vigeans

Hi

Quote
Info on Menmuirs in Careston/Brechin & Menmuir 1800's

I also have Menmuirs in the Marykirk, Kincardine area

We need more specific details as to exactly which Menmuir family/families you are researching as the above tells us nothing that we could help you with

You also need to tell us exactly what info you already have and what info you need help with.  This is to prevent any duplication of efforts/information

Do you already have details of his parents - Alexander b Fettercairn 1791& Mary b Fettercairn 1796

There is no point posting census details if you already have them.  Please tell us if you don't

His marriage to Agnes McKinnon is on the IGI at

http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=igi/search_IGI.asp&clear_form=true

And you will find details of their childrens births etc on the same website - see below for details of Parent Search

In 1861 he was living in Partick Lanarkshire - occ Tailor

Again - please tell us if you already have the census details
