Their youngest child was Jonathan. His baptismal entry (according to ancestry.co) lists Jonathan's maternal grandparents as Joseph and Mary Lee which is good news if it is true. Why would the maternal g-parents be listed and not the paternal ones?

Hi, i just happened upon this chat, i am not sure how pertinent this is, but HR & JL are my Grandparents x3, my mother told me that HR lost his estate on the turn of a card and moved to Cumbria, there is some evidence to back that up, not hard and fast and only circumstantial - The Ridley's were very wealthy landowners and descend directly from the de Percy's and thus the Plantagenet's
