1841/51 census look up please
« on: Thursday 05 August 10 17:11 BST (UK) »
I am looking for an Alexander and Margaret Kitchen in the 1841 and 1851 census.

Their children are Alexander 1813 born Alves, William 1823 and Sarah Jane Kitchen 1834 born Midlothian.

There may be another son but I have not proved yet that he is from the same family.  He is Robert Kitchen born 1834 in Scotland.

They originated in your area but may have moved on to Midlothian.

Thanks for any help.

Betty

Thanks for that information.

I had seen the Margaret and Sarah entry but not sure if they are connected.  Margaret is the wrong age.  I had not seen the other entry.  Thanks for that.

I have been given several American censuses that concerns my family so I need to study them.  I think they are going to answer a few questions.

Thanks for your time
