partridges of shrewsbury pre 1800

hi can anyone help.

william partridge was born 1774 in shropshire died 14th feb 1841. married a mary wynn 22 feb 1830, shows william as being a widdower and mary as a widdow. got married in st marys. they went on to have children.  however, 1841 census shows to older partridge children, elizabeth born 1826 and caroline born 1827.  can't find anything about these two girls or william's previous marriage. either of william and mary's parents and birth place.

could william and mary not have been married and had these two girls as I have found a caroline born 23 July 1826 and christened 31 Juy 1826.  an Elizabeth born in 1826 born in ratlinghope and not christened until 10 feb 1830.

any help please would be appreciated.

There is Mary Berwyne 8/9/1793 at Habberley near Pontesbury and Mary Bergwin 5/3/1797 Pontesbury.

Mary Burguin married William Partridge 24/8/1819 at Pulverbatch

All three villages are very close. There is also Mary Bergwin 9/3/1794 Alberbury

So the First 2 girls are from Williams first marriage.
There is Death/Burial of a Mary PARTRIDGE, 23 June 1829, St Marys, Shrewsbury

WLLIAM/JAMES/CHARLOTTE born post 1830 to Mary Wynne and William;
All are on the IGI

you are correct

Hannah was christened with a John Wynne on same day , same parents.

They were paupers and in the House of Industry , Atcham.

John Wynne the father died 1829 also St Mary's Shrewsbury

tx Trish, yes as I expected William married two Mary's.  again this is on another thread I think his first Mary was called Wynne as well.
