It is really complex! The name is probably Susan Mitchell, (born at North Creake, Norfolk.) However, she seems to have called herself Dorothy on her marriage certificate and for three of the childrens baptism's. Although she is Susan on her other three children's baptisms and her own baptism!! Likewise, her husband was Henry, but if I have the correct death certificate for Susan in 1877, then she is the widow of William Mitchell, not Henry. Their daughter Mary Ann was present at the death so she may, possibly, be at the St. Peter's address. So to sum up, we are looking probably for Susan & Henry Mitchell, but possibly Dorothy or William or a combination! Have you any idea why people would have changed their names like that, could it be to do with poor relief and settlement?
