Thank you once again, Rachel.  That is beautiful!!

My sister actually has that necklace but I can't remember the color of it!!  Julia would love the emeralds....she did like her jewellery!!

I'm sorry that I haven't responded sooner....I've had my grandson (age 20 mos) here and he's kept me VERY busy.  Computer time is very definitely limited when the little one is in the house!!

Cheers,
Susan

Oh wow Susan ~ the necklace lives on ~ how fantastic  :D
I have an Edwardian necklace which belonged to my grandmother and although it's only glass beads and would have been inexpensive, I do treasure it.
I nearly asked about Julia's as it's not that clear and trying to figure out which bits are stones had to be guesswork and wonder if it would be possible for you or your sis to photograph it sometime ? and please do tell us what colours it is, when you can.

Rachel

Hi

My sister just sent me a photo of the necklace that Julia was wearing and I thought I would share it with you.  It's pearl and amethyst.

In later life, Julia favoured larger, flashier jewellery....I think I still have a few pieces tucked away.

Cheers,
Susan

;D Oh Susan, that's so pretty and lovely to see it looking good after all this time
I did try an amethyst colour but it didn't show up too well

Thank you  :D :D
