looking at the young boy with the pointed white collar reminds me of a 1922 photo I've got of 5 brothers, four of whom have the same style. Excepting my father who was the youngest aged 10 and he had rounded edges on his collar as he'd cut off the corners.
As for the young lady. My mother and her two older sisters were born 1911 to 1918 and I have some late 1920 to late 1930 photographs with the same hairstyle. By 1940 the new hairstyle had a "bang" at the front (= a roll of hair).
