Welcome to Rootschat, wimpsy. A PM = Personal Message (for exchanging things like email addresses, recent family information and personal details). It's explained in Help pages - www.rootschat.com/help/pms.php

There's lots of other information in Help pages and other places to start you off here. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
