Joseph Kelly uniform ???

Please could  someone identify this uniform please.
 It is my Grandfather brother  James Kelly born 1880 in Bothwell Scotland.


On the back of the photo it says
"died May !915 at the German War"

Can't immediately see a match (for name, regiment and date) on CWGC though.

well I am only going by  his name on the back of the photo and the date of his death  may be able to work out his year of birth ? I  have some not from an elderly auty who said he was married and had a son called Joe but no other information on him sorry


 I will correct the wording on the back of the phot though it does say Killed in May 1915 at the german war . which I though would be the 1st world war

 it looks to me like it could be  but what about the picture of him in uniform that does not match with the Back Watch or could he have changed regiments at some time

 is S/5030 his army service number please ?

I was looking for men in the Argylls. 
Going back again, S/5030 is called Joseph Fleming Kelly on CWGC. Is that him leonora?
