George Stevens in Vancouver 1906/7

I have had access to letters that a sister of my Great Grandfather wrote in 1907.  He was George Stevens b. 1865 Stratton Audley/Caversfield, Oxfordshire.  She mentions George is in Vancouver.  He travelled after the British 1901 Census and I know he was back in England at the latest from 1930 to his death in 1946.   I don't think he emigrated as such.  Can anyone advise where to start looking? Thankyou.

You can try looking at the 1901 qnd 1911 federal cenus transcription on www.automatedgenealogy.com. I beleive you can get original images from Archives Canada site. Hope this helps.

You could also have a look in the Vancouver City Directories -- there are directories for 1906 etc  :)
