Han(d)bury's of Ashover & various) Derbyshire
« on: Saturday 14 August 10 12:54 BST (UK) »
Hi -  Have recently seen a previous discussion about Han(d)burys in Derbyshire.  I am a descendent (4 x great grand-daughter) of the Henry Handbury (b.1774 d.1848)/Grace Slin (b.1766 d.1851) marriage in 1795 Ashover - that is from their son, Henry Handbury b.1802 and moved to London (d.1878 Westminster).  I believe there was a mention of a spreadsheet of Han(d)burys - is it possible to obtain a copy of this?  I would be happy to share any info I have about the "southerners".  My mother was a Hanbury (Irene b.1920 d.2009).
I'm new to this 'chat' thing so any help/guidance is really appreciated.
 :)

My descendant is Dorothy Handbury born 1716, daughter of Henry Handbury born 1680 in Ashover. Im afraid I cant help with your query but perhaps we're related in someway.
