Thanks Sandra and Lisa for your continued interest.   On thinking that the family might have gone back to
Scotland, - I have had a look for deaths of Thomas, Jane (both mother and daughter) - John and Charlie or Charles.   Also had a preliminary look at Barrons on 1901 SCotland census - nothing, but there are some possibles - under Barron.... done a preliminary look, and none of them seem to be quite right - but will have a better study....

What a difficult family!  And yes, Sandra - knowing the "track record" of my ancestors, there were bound to be more children between 1881 and 1891....  Oh well, battling onwards....
