Frederick Frank Klingsick c1863
« on: Saturday 27 March 10 20:41 GMT (UK) »
Hi, does anyone know of this guy? Born c 1863 in St George in the East, London, he was a Confectioner in Mile End Old Town in 1891 and a Glass Bottle Packer in Walthamstow 1911. He married Emily Herd in 1883 and Elizabeth Wilkins in 1900.
I have found a William and Charlotte Klingsick in 1861 in the St George in the East area and they look about the right age to be his parents but I can find no trace of the family in 1871 or 1881. I've tried every spelling I can think of and I'm all out of ideas, any suggestions please?

Charlotte and William are baptising a daughter Caroline in 1863, William is a Sugar Baker. In ST Mary Whitechapel.  If that helps to find them.

When he married Emily HERD in 1883, he is aged 20, and gives his father's name as William KLINGSICK, a sugar maker.

William KLINGSICK, a sugar maker, married Charlotte GOLDING, at St Mary Whitechapel on 4 Mar 1855. His father was Christian KLINGSICK a tailor.

There was also a William in 1856.

Wonder if Frederick Frank and John Frederick are the same person

Yes, they have christened a Charlotte Elizabeth, 1857, a William 1856 and a Caroline 1863 but I cannot see a John Frederick or Frederick Frank.  (to that couple)

Tressle

There is a marriage for Charlotte Elizabeth and the marriage certificate does not say William is Deceased it just says he is a 'Sugar Refiner'.

FreeBMD has a John Frederick birth in 1861 at St George in the East, which is where they were living in 1861.
