 I am  researching  the Davies family who had settled in Lancashire by 1871.  They  originated from Shropshire 

John Davies born 1814  Shropshire
Mary Davies (formerly Butler) his wife  who he  married at Ratlinghope in 1842
Elijah Davies their son born 1843 Stipperstones

I would be very grateful for any information or advice
