Sorry about late reply. So many interruptions this end, and did stop F/H for a while, perhaps too long??

Thomas is my Great-Uncle. I did find the tragic story about how the transport ship was torpedoed in the Med. Memorial burial in Savona. I think I may have a photo of the relevant memorial section.
Also have photo when he was in Rome.
I am grandson to Herbert, Thomas' younger brother.

I have 'chased back' the Clements family here in Norfolk, lots of Thomas' and lots of James'.

Growing up in north-west London, got to know Lilian(just once), and Mabel, Thomas' sisters.

Presumably you are a member of the Hoad family?
