Orkney to Shetland-Urquharts

Some time around 1770 two Urquhart brothers (John and Thomas) left Orkney and settled in Fetlar, Shetland. The two are mentioned in Thomas Matthewson's "Notes of conversations about the Old Rock". They are described by Matthewson as two pipers. They settled down and raised families in Fetlar.
I would like to find their family records in Orkney. Their father is shown on www.Bayanne.co.uk as born before 1725 in Orkney. I have no knowledge of which Orkney island they originated from. Can anyone suggest where I might start to look ?.

The site you recommended (Spanish Eyes) contains the names of Thomas and David Urquhart who were sentenced to death for stealing from the mail in 1797. I would love to show that these two were related to my wife but it seems unlikely !!.
From the very few Urquharts who appear in the Orkney records it is difficult to make sense of Thomas Matherson's book which says that Thomas and John Urquhart were a pair of pipers who came to Shetland from Orkney in the mid to late 1700's.
I'll keep looking. Your help is appreciated.
