10 years is a big difference. Can't imagine that would be the one but if there wasn't a reliable informant then maybe the age was guessed?

Also thanks again to Merlin for the Samuel details. I had already seen that but lack of info makes it hard to make a positive match. There was no age on the reference was there?

I have seen many deaths with 'guessed' information on them when there was no family involved & they were reliant on 'whatever the informant knew' which could have been a co-worker, employer, doctor etc.

Deniliquin is in NSW basically on the border of Victoria & NSW, one reason why I suggested it.

Google - Deniliquin, NSW Australia & you will find it.
