Rosenhain - in Germany 1400's on
« on: Friday 20 August 10 23:25 BST (UK) »

Now here's a German dilemma and any help would be wonderful please.

I have found this info about the Rosenhain family but nothing after - or before? I can only assume they are part of my Rosenhain family as the spelling is correct. My Family sailed from Bremen on 9th December, 1849 to Adelaide, South Australia aboard the SS Pauline.

Sailing were Carl Ferdinand Rosenhain, Maria Sophia Rosenhain and Sophia Rosenhain. The family were believed to be from Leipzig. Both Carl and his father Johann were Locksmiths and Jewellers. I have not found any trace of Johann in Australia - yet!
Does anyone have any ideas please?

son,
1.Jerome Rosenhain Born : 25 FEB 1548. Jerome married - Anna LIEHSE ABT 1580.
