Frederick G Horn(e) Doncaster, Yorkshire
« on: Saturday 21 August 10 11:25 BST (UK) »
Hi All,
I am looking for some help regarding the birth of Frederick G Horn(e), born 1877 in Doncaster, Yorkshire. His parents were Charles Horn(e) & Sarah Ann Garrett. The family come from Woburn district Bedfordshire, and had two other children in Doncaster, Elizabeth born approx 1875 & Harriet born approx 1879. They moved back to Ridgemount Bedfordshire in 1880, and had further children.

I have no idea why they moved to Doncaster between 1875 and 1880, and then returned to Bedfordshire, and am unable to trace any birth records for the 3 Children mentioned above.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
       Mike.

Hi Tati,
I had not seen those records, thank you so much, I think I might order copies of the certificates to prove it.

Trying to prove that Frederick was in fact George Frederick, I was hoping he married as George Frederick but it seems he used Frederick George:

Hi Tati,
Can I ask were you found that marriage record, as I use Ancestry, and it is not coming up.

I got it off FreeBMD www.freebmd.org.uk but I see it on ancestry's FreeBMD index as well.

 :)

Added: it's also on Staffordshire BMD, where it tells us it was a civil marriage
