JENKINS / WARD Marriage
« on: Sunday 22 August 10 08:49 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace the family back beyond John Jenkins and Mary Ward who were married around 1812-13 probably in Stepney.
John was born in 1791 and was buried in Wycliffe Congregational Church, Tower Hamlets on 19th April 1842.
Elizabeth Ward was born in Cripplegate in 1793.
They are listed as living at Lucas Place,Mile End Old Town in the census of 1841.
In the census of 1851, Elizabeth Jenkins, nee Ward is listed as a widow residing at 2 Portland Place Mile End Old Town, Stepney.
I would appreciate any of the filling in of gaps or of the ancestry of either of these. I have a list of their children of whom 2 at least came out to Australia- William in the 1840s and Joseph in 1853.

Thankyou Ian C.
Parentage of either or both of these seem to be elusive at present.
