The 1880 US Census is the first place I found my Kilroe relatives.It lists a Mary Kilroe (no maiden name available),who was my Great-Great Grandmother,born @1830 in Ireland.It says her mother and father were born in Ireland also.My G-G Grandfather was deceased by 1880,and no name is given.Mary had 4 children; Eliza (born @1859);Michael (born @1861);Catherine (born @1866);and James (born @1867). It DOES say their father was born in Ireland also.Michael was my Great Grandfather,who had a son John J Kilroe (my Grandfather).He in turn had a son John J Kilroe Jr (my Father).If this rings a bell with anyone please let me know.It would be greatly appreciated.
