It may be of use or interest, but the Chivers were non-conformists - Baptists, I believe. They were not buried in Histon parish churchyard, but in the Histon and Impington cemetery. Their graves line the fence on the eastern side. I photographed some of them last year, although I fear this is by no means all of them:

Very appropriately, the Chivers family graves are overhung with plum trees.

My Aunt, Doris Cole (1897-1970) nee Ayres was 1st cousin once removed to Jack Cornwell VC, as of course was my mother Emily (nee Ayres 1903-2003). This of course makes me and my siblings cousins twice removed to Jack Cornwell. His first cousin was our maternal grandfather, Samuel Ayres (1868-1935) .. Aunt Doll (Doris) worked in the Chivers factory at Histon prior to WW1, she left school at 12.
