Welcome to rootschat

The National Archives site gives you a medal roll...see below....input Jonathan Butterworth in the search box on the left hand side and dates 1900-1949 and you will find 3 Jonathan Butterworth's....one in a Lancashire Regiment and two in Yorkshire Regiments.
Incidently...if you input Butterworth in the search rootschat box you will find useful ? info on the Butterworth's including a dabble from me as an Emily Butterworth might be my great grandmother?
Another useful tip on this site is to request one bit of info at a time.......break it down more, it's great to have as much info as your got but sometimes it gets muddled and confusing! as most of us are getting old our concentration span is limited ???
