The school records at http://www.sheffieldindexers.com list several children of John Henry COUND, including Philip. The entries include exact dates of birth and Philip's matches the one listed in the death index.

Although someone has added 'Yorks' to the father's birthplace he is definitely Welsh. Earlier censuses have him born in Poolquay/Welshpool/Guilsford. (according to GenUKI Pool Quay is "a parish formed out of Cegidfa/Guilsford & Y Trallwng/Welshpool in 1863".)

Hi Mikey I have just seen you say you was trying to help a friend, I can confirm I am the granddaughter of my grandad Peter and Nan Judy, his full name was John Philip Peter but as we already had a granddad John being my mom's dad we all then took to calling our dad's dad granddad Peter. If you with to talk more about it I'll be happy to try and answer any questions and discuss it in private if you want.
