I just came across your post. Did you know that Lt. Hobson, his son, Richard and sister, Elizabeth, are commemorated on his parents' grave in Dunleckney Cemetery, Co. Carlow?

Hi Brian
Thank you for your reply - that is very interesting.
I googled and have read the tombstone inscriptions at Dunlekney Cemetery. Something to put on my list to do and go and see when I next visit Ireland.

Hi Chris
I have been researching the RMS Leinster story, in conjunction with Philip Lecane, but was also interested in the Hobson family in Kingstown as my parents also lived in 28 Northumberland Ave. in the early years of their marriage (1940s).
If you leave contact details on Philip's website (rmsleinster.com) we can keep you informed of plans for the RMS Leinster Centenary commemoration in 2018.

Hi Brian
I would be interested in attending the RMS Leinster Centenary commemoration in 2018.
I live in Cumbria and I am moving house (still in Cumbria) at the end of January so I will leave contact details when I know post codes, phone numbers, email address, etc then.
